Rev. Albert C. Delmadge, Jr., Bishop

He has a vision for New York City to see people saved and come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Savior. Central to the development of this ministry which started as a Home Group in his home in the mid 1970's, he is the leading figure in this ministry which now stretches to areas in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and Central America.

His dedication and devotion to the Word of God has made him an instrument of service to this ministry, and to many others who have sought his counsel and wisdom to guide their paths. Tirelessly preaching 365 days per year, his inception of early morning prayers in the church has been a blessing to the lives of everyone that it has touched.

Secondary Title

Bishop Delmadge served as the first Pastor of Christian Heritage Church in 1987, while still working fulltime at his secular job. He became the owner and president of United Medical Imaging, Inc., an X-Ray installation and servicing company in 1992. He has since resigned from that company and has dedicated his full efforts to the ministry. As a member of International Christian Center (ICC), he was first an Elder, then a Pastor in that ministry, ordained at ICC and working closely with Dr. N. Benjamin Crandall, his spiritual mentor.

He has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Zion Bible College since 1995 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for Christian Heritage Ministries and the Headmaster of Christian Heritage Academy. Bishop Delmadge has been eloquently schooled in the Gospel, and for his work in the ministry and dedication to the work of Christ, has been recognized with an Honorary Degree in Ministerial Studies from Zion Bible College.

Today, he and his wife Merna are pioneering the new outreach in Central Florida. He is currently ministering at Christian Heritage of Kissimmee in Central Florida with plans to reach Tampa, Oviedo and Clermont. His mission has also targeted other areas as he plans to start churches in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as other neighboring states. His dream to see the Gospel reach the ends of the Earth, is compelling enough for him to see a church in every block and every home. While he works to bring the Good News of salvation home to everyone, he has also dedicated his life to the planting of churches everywhere. In all of these activities, given an invitation, he will still meet you at your house, to bring the reality of the Gospel of Christ home to you.
